Bike fitting is a specialized appointment aimed at enhancing a cyclist's positioning on their bike. Everything from the pedals, the saddle and the handlebars can be modified to optimize performance, comfort or help prevent injuries. This appointment requires every cyclist to bring their bike, shoes and all the clothes they typically wear to ride.
Each session begins with an assessment of your condition, including a review of your past medical history and a discussion about your cycling background. Your bike will then be mounted on a trainer, where we will start evaluating your position and addressing any discomforts. Your therapist will adjust key elements in your shoes, saddle, and handlebars as necessary. It's important to wear your cycling clothes during the session, as you will be required to bike for a few minutes at a time. By the end of the appointment, you will receive a detailed chart outlining key measurements from your previous and new bike fit.
